RE: Fitch Fuel Catalyst (Improves MPG?)
Wel IF, IF it did work! At 1 MPG gain it would give me a 3.6 gals per tank savings = 3.6 * 3.50 per/gal = $12.60 savings per tank, $300 cost of it/ $12.60 savings per tank= 23.8 tanks of fuel to pay for it = 17,200 miles +/-. Just checking it out. Hell I payed $525 for a programer that gave me a 2 mpg gain +/-. I read this and thought I would she what you thought.

This part makes me wonder ...
We have to come right out and admit that we're not exactly sure how it works. There's a canister that houses a bunch of metallic rods that look like giant match sticks. We're comfortable with things like propane, which acts as an added fuel and increases fuel economy, but we were stumped when we took a look at the Fitch.

Well they clam it works. You know before the PSD and MMO was proven how many people said it was "snake oil". And you could say that about a number of products. I'm not saying it works or not. Just that it is worth a look. I do not think I will pay 300 bucks for something like that myself, Hell I wont to **** my money away on something that will not help me save money.

Is that how much they want for that thing? I must have missed that part.
I agree 100% about spending money to help save myself money. That's why I bought skinier tires and why I'm now looking into intake horns based on what Steve has learned. Whatever I can do to get me better mpg's has always been what I was in search for. A race truck is not m goal at all. A long lasting daily driver is what I'm trying to build.

I'd be interested to know what you've found out so far and what combo you think works best.
