Default Sellin It

Well, I hate to do it, but I'm puttin my truck up for sale. I don't pull anything, don't use 4x4, so aside from having the quad cab, I just can't justify paying an extra 50 cents per gallon for fuel.

2006, quad cab, 2500, 4x4, Desiel, lots of extras, 32k miles, $28,000

If anyone is interested or knows anyone, lemme know. I'm a proud single parent and I gotta buy a house this year, lol.

I did the same two years ago. Sold my truck to buy a house. Then bought another truck.

What are you planning on going with? I too have thought seriously lately not getting rid of my truck, but of getting something else to drive that is more economical. The two big problems I keep facing though are

1. I love my truck

2. I feel SAFE in my truck !!

With people driveing aroung texting each other swerving in and out of lanes I think I'd S**T myself if I was driving some 50 mpg Yugo watching some soccer mom in a Hummer text her online boyfriend. On my scoot, I feel more comfortable because I have options as to where I can go. But these little cars scare me a little.

Best of luck to you though USAF. I hope this doesn't mean that you'll be leaving here as well.

Sadly, not because diesel is going to go down, but because gas is going to go up to match and then surpass it. I don't think any of us will ever see <$3 fuel of any flavor ever again.

Another reason for selling it is that according to the divorce decree, I have to get my ex-wifes name off of it. The only way to do that is to refinance,, so I figured that while I was at it, I might as well. If I can't sell it out right, I'm just gonna keep it. Theres nooooo way I'm gonna take the **** raping that the dealer will give me on a trade in. As far as fuel prices go,, the simple response to it is this,,, as long as there is tremendous record profit to be made, the fuel manu. companies will go for it, and as long as our Commander in Cheif sits idly by, they will continue to go for it. Try this I did but if you get the same results you might be surprised! I used 30,000 miles . divide mpg you R getting with CTD into 30000 mile then multiply by diesiel price per gal then do the same with gas truck and see the diff
