Default Oakley's rig

I snapped this as I was driving, it's the closest I could get to it. Looks like a pretty cool setup. I noticed they got a dully box off a dodge and had quite a few led's lining the side.

that things sweet! although it would be sweet to have money to spend on somthing like that, i am going to have to start a fight by saying the f-650 extreme is the sweetest of them all (not trying to jack your thread either chewy)

Yeah but really who needs a "pickup" like that? Imo any 4500 or F450 with a pickup bed just seems to bea waste of a truck. Of course maybe someone can tell me whyit's a good thing, I just don't see it for now...I mean lookat that 650.. the bed is totally useless to toss tools or whatever in there unless you have a stepladder handy...

no worries, and I would have to agree to a point. I would love to have one of those.

There's no "need" involved. It would be just for the sheer he!! of it.

i cant see a use for it either other than the models that they sell with gooseneck flat beds for pulling. they do come with very big engines so i would assume someone could use it for that matter. as far as personal use goes... why does anyone need to spend 100 grand on a luxury car, a half a million on a personal aircraft, or 60 grand on a custom bike ? i have looked these trucks up and the cost to have one build it somewhere around $93,000 with the cat engine. if you gave me a choice of this truck, or a lexus of a slightly greater price i would take the truck because of its "uniqueness". i have seen a few of these trucks for advertising purposes also which leads me to point out use of that oakley truck.

another fun fact that turns me on to the 650, and most likely that oakley truck: AIR BRAKES

(and im not trying to make an argument here, i just answered a question IMO)

The reason for those is for severe weight pulling and hauling. Sometimes they are necessary but most of the time its just a WANT and I WANT one.

Both really cool trucks. I suspect the ones with the dually beds are used for show or advertising. I see many of these types of trucks with modified tow beds pulling goosenecks/fifth wheels. I see quite a few fulltimers pulling monster fifth wheels with these trucks. When pulling 24000lbs of trailer the air brakes and the extra heavy duty everything else is almost required. Here is a couple more I would like in my driveway...

yeah though look up the info on that MXT, its about the size of a regular pickup but the price tag is near that of an F-650. Ridiculous. Oh and it has the VT365 for the engine(also known as the infamous 6.0 Powerstroke!). Nice lookin truck though, but I'd definitely prefer a CXT or as already mentioned, an F650 with the C7 CAT motor.
