thanks. I dont understand the whole backspacing thing really. So I have no Idea where to start. I know the smaller number, the more the wheel sticks out. Thats basically it.

Stock wheels are 6.25" backspacing +40mm offset

You need a wheel with 6" to 5.5" backspacing for it not to rub with 35" with a leveling kit. I just ordered a new set of rims with 5.5" bs and they hit the edeg of my bushwackers when turning if I didn't have the fender flares on I don't think they would hit at all but solving that problem with some of Thuren Fab's 1/2" longer control arms...

Would a 4.75 backspacing work? Thats the highest I can find in the wheel I want. http://www.4wheelcustoms.com/Products.asp?Cat=1417

It will work, however that shallow of a backspacing can put additional stress on the axles because of the way the leverage works out. Not sure (but highly doubt) that you'll be able to add more stress than that truck can handle. IMO, they'll work. And you're right, they will stick out further. Mine are 5.39", not much more than half an inch difference.

Hmm, I wonder what the point to them making the backspacing so short is? The backspacing I need is available in 18 and 20 inch wheel, but that doesnt really help me. I will try to email pro comp and see if they make can make the wheel with the backspacing I need.

If you want to clear 37's on a 6" lift you should have a back spacing of:
This system will accommodate up to a 37” tall tire mounted on an 8” wheel with a minimum
of 4-5/8” backspacing. The use of a wider wheel and / or a wheel with less backspacing
than specified may result in tire-to-fender contact.

I ran a 10" wheel and made contact with 35's.
