Default is your tail gate really heavy ?

I asked if it was ok to post this but, never got a response so, I'll see how it goes.

I wanted to show you guys the " Gate Assist " because it's a real benefit to our very heavy tail gates. My wife thinks it's the greatest thing since sliced bread as she's able to let the gate up and down with only a pinky finger.

These shocks are custom made in Germany with the hardware made locally. They can only be bought in bulk because of where they're from and how they're made. As with many thing made in Germany, they're of very high quality and built to last.

You can open the tail gate and let it go... it hydraulically lowers ( slowly ) all the way down. Then to close it, it's only a matter of taking your pinky and lifting. It practically lifts itself !

If anyone is interested you're welcome to PM me or go to my web store for the purchase. I'm not making any money by selling these, I only want to offer some cool stuff that isn't found every where. I have a couple other products there for the same reason.

There is another gate lift on the market called the " EZ down " don't be fooled by this one as it's a one way operation and doesn't operate near as well. one reason for the price difference.

I have the EZ Down on mine, it works perfectly although it does only work going down, but that is the only time I need it. My hands are usually empty when I'm closing my tailgate.

the going up part is the hardest. The gate is very heavy and with the gate assist, it's as light as a feather. If you had this one, you'd wonder why you bought that one :-)

that includes shipping. I'll admit, it's not for everyone but, there are those that do appreciate the little things. The shock alone is $110 then you have the hardware and shipping which brings it to the amount shown. Sometimes you have to pay for luxuries. It's one of the first things I did to my truck.

LOL, I don't have to wonder why I bought mine, it was half price. My money tree isn't as fertile as yours, you just have to compare our trucks to see that ;-)

P.S. I'm not knocking the Gate Assist.

dude, I don't even know why you posted here. It has nothing to do with a fertile money tree. It called spending your money wisely.

Thanks Dave. That's all I was looking to do. Believe me, there's no money to be made in selling them. I love mine and the wife really likes her. Just trying to spread the love :-)

The guys that has them is a full time fire fighter and doesn't have time to deal with thing. I'm trying to help him out too.
