Around 40 psi of boost is fine for a stock turbo the problem is above 35 you are really just blowing alot of hot air, the efficency goes way down. I have my edge set to limit boost to 35 psi. The settings are easy to change on the attitude monitor I would suggest you limit the boost. I doubt you will see any change in performance. The filter minder is always showing that you need cleaning because obviously you romp on it and the turbo is sucking it in. You are moving huge quanities of air when you stomp on these things. but boy is it fun as hell.

It can overpower the clutch just go easy on it when shifting. Besides a hi performance clutch will only set you back a couple grand a hi performance auto is between 4-7 grand. If your egt probe is in the exhaust manifold thats pre turbo so your good for short bursts at 1300 degrees 1200 is no problem at all.
