Default Normal Boost for stock 5.9l

Quick question here, what is the normal boost at WOT on a stock 5.9L 24v? The highest mine ever gets is 18 psi.

I think that is a little low for a 24v 2nd gen. I have a 3rd gen and it will hit 38 psi stock. I think the 2nd gen 24v should hit the low 20's, but I'm not 100% sure.

max boost pressure for 24v stock is 23 psi give or take a few psi you will never see close to 30 psi unless you pinch of the waste gate hose or put a diffrent waste gate on the stock hx35 turbo. At wot that is low check all you cac hoses to see if they have a hole or have slipped off. If that doesnt fix it could be the map sensor or possible the waste gate actuator is wearing out.

Thanks guys, thats great info.

Could it possibly be a leak/hole in the intercooler boots?
I haven't had time to get in and look yet at the clamps etc.

The turbocharger boost pressure specs are between 110 - 138 kpa (16 - 20 psi.).
