I just wanted to say hi to all the diesel guys here. As you can easily figure out, I replaced my Hemi with a Cummins. I'm not sure how, or if I can change my name as I no longer own a Hemi.
On another note, I would like to mod the truck. I've searched the forum and read different things. turbo's exhaust, chips, ect. I'm not sure what i want yet.
The truck came with an Edge chip, and an X Monitor. I'm completely new to the Plug Free world, and have no idea what is good or bad. I also don't know the limitations of the engine or how to boost performance and still maintain towability.
Like any new owner i have millions of questions. So I will leave it open with a simple statement.
I'm new to CTD's so just give me your 2 cents and I will read them all! That's a promise!

Congrats on the new truck.
Unless it came with impeccable maintenance records you might want to make sure the basic maintenance is up to date before you start your power adding mods.
Oil change, fuel filter and drive line fluids are a good place to start.
Always use quality filters on your Cummins and don't neglect the fuel filter.
Dirty fuel will kill your injectors and they are very expensive to replace.

steve05ram360: Thank You! I am not sure what I want my new name to be, but once I decide I will contact admin and have it changed. I am open to all suggestions on a name!
rabbler: I completely agree with you! I looked long and hard for a truck. If you look at my history, I’ve been looking for close to a year. The #1 reason is that I do not trust people to keep good maintenance. I finally chose this truck because the previous owner is the original owner, and he has complete service records of every scheduled mantince in the B side of the book. It was all done at the same dodge dealership, and was never late. He also had the books and receipts for all the mods done to the truck as well!
rabbler: Yes that was also a big selling point of the truck!
Thanks for all the replies!
