check this site out...

http://www.purecummins.com/catalog/1gen12v/

I havent come across much for the 1st gen 12v motors but I havent been looking either. Search for "cummins 12 valve performance" on the web and see what you can come up with. This was my 1st result in my quick search...

the best bang for the buck is the 3,200 gsk (govenor spring kit) on the 1st gen's, it wont really raise the power level, but it makes them a lot better to drive, you wont de-fuel untill 3,200 rpm's, i could tell you how to adjust the pump for a lot more power, but the auto trans will suffer if you drive with any kind of heavy foot, and you should really have gauges for any kind of pump adjustments, the "gsk" will cost you about $16 delivered from ebay and is well worth the time and money, however, you need some mechanicall skills to install, it's for the faint of heart

do you have any gauges EGT, boost psi, trans temp? you can remove the collar on the power screw, to get a few more turns, but go to far with it and you may get the dreaded "run away" the star wheel under the diaphram can be loosened all the way (down) remove the plastic washer in the fuel pin, you can grind the pin (thats what i do) and turn the smoke screw as far down as you like, the fuel pin adjustments will help out a bit but i would do a whole lot more with the power screw on a stock setup,

the fuel pin settings wont really increase power, just brings it on sooner, for your best performance, i would turn the star wheel all the way down, remove the plastic washer, and put the deepest part of the fuel pin facing forward, then just adjust your smoke screw to what you want, 1 turn is about all you should do on the power screw without a pyrometer, but you should still install one ASAP, and the 3200 gsk was my favorite mod of all on my first gen, it really brings them to life!

1250-1300* is max, any more and the pistons will start to take a different shape... the gsk is a little difficult, but if you take your time and have paitience, it will be ok, if you decide to do it let me know and i will give you a part number for a tool that will simpify it a little
