Default 2012 Ram 2500 HELP

I just bought a new 2500 cummins pickup and wanted to know how could I pull a little more fuel milage out of my truck without voiding the warranty ?

I did the deletes! Couldn't take the fact I could not treat it like the truck that it is... On I am getting over 24 mpg! With still just 15000 miles not even broke in yet

He is talking about deleting exhaust components theat WILL void warranty.

DPF and EGR deletes.

according to the dodge cares person on here...it only voids warranty on components that directly relate to those systems...so suspension and transmission and such should still be covered

OP asked for ways to improve mileage, I took that as he's already trying to get the best he can.

Any driveline parts will for sure be voided if you delete; engine, trans, transfer case, axles. Dealer will try to void anything else also, like your radio, but that would still be a warrantable item, as it has absolutely nothing to do with any engine mods.

At one point my overhead display said I was getting 24+ mpg on my 08.

It was way wrong. Manually calculating it for that highway stretch it was closer to 18 mpg.



Which is still much better than the 10 it got average before the deletes.
