2010 2500 Megacab 4x4 with Cummins
#3
their newest trucks have a higher payload capacity than that...
2500 short bed has 2534lb capacity
2500 long bed has 2382lb capacity (yes the short bed has higher payload capacity)
this does not hold true for the 3500 though, but we are only talking 2500 here
2194lb capacity for the megacab 2500
(all 2013 specs)

truck
I bought the truck today. What exactly does deleting the DPF,EGr, and programmer do?
Do I need to run a lubricant like AMSOIL or Diesel Clean? What does it do for the truck?

Well, as you'll find out, mileage sucks stock. Numbers vary widely, but around 15 is probably a good average. There is also some complications that some have with the emissions. Deleting, while illegal and will get you in trouble if you live where inspections and emissions checks take place, gets you better mileage, more power, and eliminates the problem areas of the truck.
Some guys live by Amsoil and additives, I personally avoid them. Amsoil is a name with no real added benefits that I've seen, and additives haven't shown their worth to me either.
