3rd gen guys, pop your hood and check something out for me please
first of all that glue that holds the head light lens on is a mother[:@] I gave up after 30 min of prying and getting no where. since one of the side markers in my headlight is busted anyway I was going to pull the both of them out. but that glue is a bit stronger than I though.
anyway, while I had the hood up I noticed this pink stuff on my air filter and thought it was a bit odd so I started looking around. well, my radiator resivoir is close to the low side but not worth putting more in. and thats when it hit me, I was looking at the pigment of the radiator fluid. come to find out the overflow hose on my truck makes a funny loop around the secondary battery cables and then onto the nipple of the overflow without any type of clamp. so when my truck is running at operating temps and fluid needs to be vented off, instead of it going to the overflow tank it was being sprayed out.
I hopefully solved this problem by a zip-tie putting some pressure on the hose to tighten it up a bit so it wont be looseing fluid from it.
I'm gunna try and get some picks here in a bit for your viewing pleasure

I'll have to check mine tonight, been awhile since I looked at the radiator overflow tubing.
Drew, having trouble with the glue? Try it in direct sun light on a warm day (80F+). The lights aren't that fragile, I was beating the hell out of mine while taking them out, stabing with a screw driver, etc. the best thing is getting a sharp knife in there and cutting the first part. once you get a few inches of leverage, you can get a few fingers in there and pry it apart. then just seal it up with some auto adhesive, I don't remember which one I used but I sealed it better than factory.

Yeah, that tab in the rear is a pain, but once you get that off, the whole assembly should come out. rob[GL] did a nice write up of it last year, helped me out.

Drew,
Mine runs all they way past the battery down past the ( inside ) fender... I would say the hose is about 3 feet long or so... I guess it all depends what person on Monday morning put it together or ran out of hose :-)
