Does anyone happen to know about how much a 2500 weighs?

What year? You should be able to figure it out by taking the the gross vehicle weight (GRVW) and subtracting the max payload (I think thats the equation). I've heard weights between 7000-8500lbs for the 3rd Gen Rams, but again, I'm new to diesel truck land.

My registration in NY sayz 9,000 but the dealer told me that the 2500 ctd with a long bed weighs 8800.
There are a lot of people here in NY who had to change their EZ-Pass toll pre-payment after they bought the heavier truck. Most bridges and tunnels if you are under 7,000 you pay $ 4.00 , once your over 7000 it goes up to double the toll... it stinks... i am trying to figure out a way to re-register my truck with the DMV and tell them it weighs 6900... i will let you know what happens.

05 CTD - 4 x 4 - long-bed - stock vehicle ( is fast enough ) 4.10's - 4 speed auto

I took my 05 Quad 4x4 Lariat and had it weighed with an almost empty tank. It came out at 7220# and that is with a Leer cap installed. If you want to register yours at a lower weight, have it weighed and take them the certified ticket.
