RE: Turbo issues? Help
THANKS!!! a million for all your help peoples. I really do appreciate it. You all are great!!!
Ok, going to pick up part now.
Is the MAP sensor accessible from the Hood or underneith?
I know you said it was on drivers side towards back of block, is it above or below starter?

RE: Turbo issues? Help
DID I TELL YOU GUYS I LOVE YOU!!!
This is the best forum ever!!!!!!
Ok, here is the update:
Picked up new map sensor.
Found where it goes and installed it.
Mine is a bit harder to get to no thanks to the prime-loc remote fuel management system that I have in mine (what is the point of that anyway????)
Had to move the big a#$ filter and chrome plate out of the way so that I could get a socket and my hand down in there to swap it out.
On the upside its all done, now the big question is, will the check engine light go off and the CPU correct itself??????
Guess I will find out on the ride home today (I hope)
Just wanted to say thanks so much everyone (kossuth, Drew, tcarothers, steve00ram360, tobinj) for your comments and for all your help.
You all rock!!!
I'll let you know what happens after the ride home
Thanks Everyone Again!!!!!

RE: Turbo issues? Help
Just an update for you all.
It has now been a full 24 hours of a lot of driving. So far so good. The SES light went out on my way home last night, and hasn't been back since.
All is running great.
Yes, it took a whopping 15 min to switch out. Just was still a little hot because I drove it to get the part.
Everything works great.
Thanks again to you all, I really appreciate the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I should probably start a new thread on this question but wtf, I'll ask here for the heck of it.
Whats the best programmer you all would add to your big D? EZ, 6 gun? Which would give me the biggest bang for the buck?
