Can we add a seperate 6.7 mileage thread? It would be easier to keep track of mileage.
Thanks Joel

Ive had my Diablo Power Puck on for a month now, first 2 weeks i've averaged 23.9 mpg (2 fillups) with the power puck in the tow/economy mode, second 2 weeks i turned the power puck off just to see exactly what the difference would be and with 2 fillups ive been averaging 21.6mpg, hand calculated. This is driving 120 miles a day 95% freeway miles at 60+ mph, granted i coast on downhill backroads, but thats my normal driving style especially with diesel at $3.15 a gal. My truck is a 2007, 5.9, 6speed, QC, longbed 4x4, S&B cold air intake, AFE flow thru muffler, Diablo Power Puck.

New to the forum. Thanks for the site.

Also new to oilers. Bought a 2003 CTD long bed 4X4 four door with 71K. Five speed manual. 3.73's. Stock with the exception of a 4" dynaflow stainless from the turbo back. Flow through muffler. Now have 76K on the truck

Bought the truck to tow and kick around the Idaho backwoods.

Stock tire sizes and no additives.

Best mileage 26.3 for a tank. Hand calculated. Idaho to California going south. Empty. Average speed <60 (took the back roads). Over 820 miles and 31.1 gallons.

Going north on the same tripempty at and avg of 60 to 65, 1800 to 1900 rpm 24.7. Going south at same speed empty. 24.8.

Towing a 29' fully loaded fiver. (9600lbs empty plus at least another ton of gear and supplies) on the trip north 12.7 overall with one stretch at 10.8 (Reno to Winnemuca bucking a 25 mph quartering headwind.) 60 mph average.

Have not towed the trailer south yet. Around town 19 to 20.5.

I do keep my foot out of it for the most part. Just roll along and go for the average speed. Love seeing the same cars pass me 3 or four time on the long stretches through Nevada.

Love this truck. Best vehicle I have ever owned with maybe the exception of the airplane. Its a toss up. The airplane doesn't tow worth a ****.

I consistently get 11.56 and its almost always the exact same to the hundredths. Thats burning about 3/4 of a tank at a time. Been that way ever since the lift and tires. My odometer is still set to stock tires though.

1)37.5 overall diameter
2)None, straight ULSD
3)Auto
4) 3.73
5) 4wd
Will I did a milage test with my Juce with attitude. I went on a road trip from Southern CA to Eastern WA and Northern ID. Wen i left i filled my tank and put the Edge on power levle 1+3. I set the cruse at 1,925 RPM (76 MPH in my truck with the tires and gears i have 3.55 with 37" tires) on that tank i made it 511 Miles on 31 gal. wich works out to be 16.48 MPG the next tank i put the programer on levle 3+3 and set the cruise at the same RPM 1,925 or 76MPH. on that tank I made it 553.7 miles befor i stoped for fuel. It took 28.4 gal. Wich workes out to be 19.49 MPG. So i got a 3+ MPG increase driving the exact same speed and every thing. The last time i made the trip I did not have the Edge unit and a few other things but drove about the same speed and got just uner 16 MPG. So Yes you can get better Milage with the edge unit. In my opinion It is one of the best mods i have done. Well worth the money!!! At the end of the week I will be heading ack to CA. This time I will be taking the I-5 so the speed limit will be a little lower so i think i will be able to do better than 20 MPG.

You may be right, but i dunno ...

From what I've been hearing, the larger tires work in your favor at highway speeds, but kill you at the lower speeds.

We'll see ..

It's interresting that you got better mileage with the Edge set at the higher level. I'm hopeing for the same. I can't get outta the mid 14's to save my life. Last week while towing my 4K trailerI only got 12.88 mpg. [:@]

Check out the DIY section floated at the top. I think the whole Drews Brew mix is described in there.
