OK, so I went to Wallyworld this afternoon to pick up Power Service and MMO.
There were two varieties of Power Service, white jug and silver jug, the description of both was the same with the exception that the silver jug advertised +6 cetane and the white jug advertised +4 cetane. They were both the same price and I didn't notice any other difference based on the label.

Drew, silver jug or white jug, any difference between the two that you know of and which is better???

 

Use Silver for summer and use the white for winter. Here in North Iowa the silver jug at wallyworld cost $2.00 more per jug. Cetane is the same as Octane in gas the higher the better for good mpg.

 

the white jug has anti-gelling addatives to help keep diesel from gelling up in colder temps.

I use the grey jug year round, doesnt get cold enough here to use the white jug.

 

Curious as to what prices people are getting their PS and MMO......

The local Wallyworld sells them at:

PS Silver - $12.96 for 96oz jug
PS White - $12.96 for 96oz jug
MMO - $11.26 for gallon jug

This is $5-6 per jug cheaper than anywhere else local (auto parts, truck center, etc.)

 

Those are the prices i pay at wally world.

 

So Wally World is the best place to get the 2 products price wise?

 

It doesnt get cold enough here either but I have been using the white jug since I got the truck.
Thing I like is Wallyworld carries the half gallon size and most of the auto parts stores dont.
I have seen the MMO in a 4 pak of 6 oz each.

 

ok wallyworld ?, so in calif. it would be Wal-Mart ?

 

Wally-World is just an affectionate name for Wal-Mart, I HATE Wal Mart but for the Dodge I will go there cuz I doubt that Target will have the stuff.

 

What do you guys use to mix the two products in? Do you just pour it in or add it to a gal of diesel then pour that in like a pre-mix?
