Default Hockey season starts tomorrow...

How many fans do we have here?
Who's your team?

Me: San Jose Sharks fan since day 1, hockey fan since around 1970...

I plan on attending several Stockton Thunder games www.stocktonthunder.com who are an ECHL team that just moved in the area last season. a mear 35 miles from door to door... tix $9~12 bux... cant be beat! (San Jose is a tad bit too far & expensive)

Huge fan here!!! Can't wait to get it started. The Avalanche made some pretty big changes this off-season. We will see if it pays off. Also have Colorado College in town who are usually top-10 in the country nearly every year.

Local team is the Erie Otters (Yeah, I know, terrifying name) in the OHL. Developmental league for 16-19 year old players. Won the Cup in '02, 3rd in all Canadian leagues. Many former players in the NHL now. Also root for the Sabres.

Steve00 - you better have a block heater on that puppy! (Changin' employers or goin' to their plant up there? I used to live off I-5 south of Portland - Tigard - nice place if you don't mind the cold drizzle)

We're looking to move in about 2~3 years, once my youngest is out of HS, (he's a sophmore). My wifes in a 20 month program full time right now so we're staying put until both are outa school. I'm planning on going self employed once up there. I've been a test engineer for about 12~15 years now and in electronics since HS. with all the kids moving on out (1 is already out and another is moving to WA in Nov) I think it's time for a change.

Ramtra... where'd you move to? besides the drisel (sp?) any other things to know about the area? (btw, the truck has a cord for a block heater so I assume it's installed)
