Default Installed Airaid jr. kit and removed silencer ring.

Overall very cool! Silencer ring was a cinch, install of the airaid kit was very simple. The jr. kit is basically just a hi-flow washable filter and it replaces the black tube....I forget what its called with a high flow one. I went with it because I have heard bad things about K&N and I have to say I am glad I did. The filter alone must weight 4 lbs or so, the sides are very thick and well its just made very very well and you cant seee through it like you can a K&N but claims just as good of flow. The design of the tube is neat as well. Its tapered and uses a venturi principal which compresses and speeds up the air going through it. I took the truck around the block and it sounds awesome! I didnt get on it because it wasnt fully warmed up but I love it so far. The kit was around $90 on ebay. I also installed the condenser protector from genos and put a heavy duty emblem on it. I cant help it..i know its under the hood but it looks damn good. I will take some pics today and post them later.

I forgot to mention that I forgot to hook up the damn air sensor on the intake tube so it threw a code!! Oh well, it will go away but I hate that light.

Well, not the amount of responses I thought I would get. I guess you have to see the condensor protector in person and see how much that emblem really makes the engine compartment look good. Mayfair is my new best freind. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Speakle,

Where did you buy it and and how much was it??? I like the idea of having something to cover that part of the front end up.

is that a cover over the condencer? looks awesome.
How does the JR air raid differ from the stock piece?
