Default Can't find my 110 plug

I know the truck I just purchased has an engine block heater.... I can see it on the window sticker.

I feel like a tard, because I cannot find the 110 plug anywhere in the engine bay.

Any hints would be appreciated because its getting colder now and would like to use the heater.

The heater element mounted in the right side of the block towards the middle. The plug should be on the right hand side somewhere. I had to dig mine out from underneath the battery.

Don't go too crazy just yet.

Did you buy the cord? I'm learning that just because you bought a truck with a heater, the cord for the heater is now an OPTION, and doesn't come stock anymore.

Yeah .... I know ....

If you do have to buy one, try and get the dealer to give you one first. If they're so friggin tight that they won't, co to Cummins and get it cheaper. I went to Cummins and got for like $11.00 or something.

I have an 06 3500. Mine has the block heater and came with the cord. On mine, it is located behind the grille. Open the hood, and standing in front of the truck, it's on the left side of the radiator/condenser (passenger side). Mine is hanging there with a plug cover on the end.

Mine is on the passenger side also next to the headlight. the plug actually hangs down under the front bumper a little bit. You might check there.
