They seem to work, but I was told by cummins that there would be no warrenty. He told me if they (cummins) wanted it on there, they would have put it on there. Just my 2 cents

Someone posted that question a week or so ago. Do a search for toilet paper filters. It was actually pretty cool.

Check out oilguard.com and fs2500.com, also Amsoil and Frantz makes them and others.
Proven effective again and again. Used by fleets of heavy equipment, trucking, and farmers on their diesel motors, as well as those that want to do whatever they can to extend the life of their motors and transmissions in passenger vehicles. From my experience, the only naysayers out there are those who do not have a bypass system.

Cummins puts these systems on many of their own motors. Why Dodge does not offer secondary oil filtration systems even as an option is beyond me. Maybe the public at large just doesn't understand their function well enough to aprreciate the value! This is not some recent snake oil type product like magnets for the fuel line, or tornado intake gadgets that have not proven their value. These systems go back many years.

Check out the facts and see if it will benefit you.

Anyone else who HAS a bypass oil or trans fluid system care to chime in.
Cheers
Mike

I've got the Amsoil bypass filter and really believe in it using oil analisis(sp) can prove it. And with that info there shouldn't be a dealer who would void your warranty because your oil is to "clean". There are several good systems out there, I chose Amsoil because it uses a spin on filter but believe the franz is actually a better system IF serviced right.
