Wade, the thing with the warranty and the Magnussun-moss(SP?) act is the dealership has to prove the modification directly caused the fault.
with the bypass filter all you are doing is adding in an extra level of filtration to the oil to keep it cleaner so it can do its job better.

lol, beleive what you want, but one member here on DF did his own test and posted his results. basiclly slapped one on a new filter and ran it for 3~5k (I forget how long), then yanked it and cut it open. sure enough there was a good amount of metal particles on the side of the filter. I'm pretty sure it was in the 2nd gen Ram forum. I'll see if I can find it. Besides, why would you doubt that a magnet can lock metal particles out of oil?

also, isnt there a magnet on the bottom of the differential? and isnt there also a magnet on some oil drain plugs?
