I dunno ... I'd be leery. I guess it's because I generally don't trust dealers and I HATE salesmen !!

Yeah, I'd be a little leery of that one. You could end up with a truck like my nightmare.
I'd make them pull up the history on it, at the least. You'd need a 3" binder to put mine in.
Then again, there may not be a damn thing wrong with it.

Thanks for all the help guys.
I also meant to say truck instead if car lol
I found a 2007 Leramie 4x4, auto, navigation, etc. for $50,600
They are going down around $8,200 from the MSRP so they will give it to me for 42k plus taxes.
I will pay cash so every penny is important to me lol

if you'r paying cash Ive got a good childrens fund you can help
anyway, with that 05, I would be skeptical, the best way to see how it was treated is to get the key, hold down the odometer button while turning the key to run. after a few seconds it will display how many hours are on the engine. if there are alot of hours as compared to the mileage I would walk away. the higher the hourto mileage ratio the more of a chance you'll have injector problems.
also, unless you plan on towing alot and heavy, I doubt you need the 4.10's. they do cut into mileage a good bit. Ive got 4.10's in mine and granted I like the pulling power, at 70mph I'm tuning 2300rpm[:@]I do get anywhere from 17-19mpg depending on how heavy my foot is and how high I have my TST set.

I am confirming what Drew stated check the engine hour time divide that by the mileage on the odometer if this raito is 10-20 miles/hour you know that this truck has idled for long periods of time and/or was probably driven in town for short runs. Their is a way that you can retrieve how many times the vehicle has actually been started but I'm not sure exactly how to do this yet. Good luck on your search.
