Okay that's a new thing because before only one relay was clicking. Have you checked to see if you're now getting power to the coil?

Blown fuse?

Connect a meter to the plug going to the compressor clutch and see if you get power when the A/C is on.

With the A/C on BRIEFLY jumper the terminals of the low pressure switch connector to see if the compressor starts.

The ASD relay and the coil were both bad? Go figure! I hate compound problems, they make it so much harder to figure out what wrong.

One or the other could been going bad and caused additional strain on the other one which was already old and worn out. The other possibility is that in troubleshooting the first problem you cause a problem with the second component.

It's function is to cut-off power to the compressor if the refrigerant charge drops below 22 PSI on the low side of the A/C system. I suggested momentarily jumping the connector (with the A/C on) it just to see if the compressor would spin. If it spins then the problem is narrowed down to a low refrigerant charge or a bad low pressure switch.

RNTVIN1,

Is your van fitted with the 5.2 engine and how many miles do you have?

With the key on, do you have power on both sides of the ASD relay contacts?
