1998 Dodge B1500

Pulled into Fred Meyer, heard hissing from raditor, waited hour, wet, but empty. Got coolant and raditor leak sealant. Poured into radiator and poured coolant also.

Cranked engine and water cascading from (what looks like) center of engine front. Water pump took a dump?

Leak not going when engine off...

 

New water pump time.

 

How much??

 

Look it up online.

 

All the leak sealers will clog the radiator and heater core. Don't use them! Get a pump with a lifetime warranty. Should be in the 50-75$ range depending where you get it.

Sounfs like the pump, as said. I had mine go out a while ago, too. I've repaired plenty on my truck myself.. the pump was a repair I didn't want to do myself. For what it's worth, there was too much engine dismantling for my liking. Into the shop it went.

 

If you can't be bothered with the effort to put together a couple of complete sentences explaining the problem, or asking a clear question, then don't expect us to put any effort in either.
