Well,I have no vacume leaks, plenum gasket good, took ecm out checked iac for bad solder re-soldered it and other is chips that looked suspicious.Pu back in still starts right up and very high idle.I am stumped going to use a Android diagnostic plug that I have had to see if it will detect anything in ecm. What I can't get over is it starts right up no hesitation just high idle! I don't think map would cause this type of reaction.Any help appreciated.sorry for delay as my knees have been really bad and couldn't get to truck etc. Thank You

Does the idle change with engine temp?

no, not really, only time it seem to get a little slower is when I brake but it picks up right away. Going down road 35+ without foot on gas pedal! I don't think the M.A.P. sensor would do that? I don't know, I'm going to try to flash ecm via laptop and website,I think it's Chrysler 35? 3 days.I have one of those o.b.d.2 mini interphase deals, never used it. Going to see if I can detect anything with that 1st. If I can figure out how to turn off incoming messages from Facebook etc.I am also going to have to find the right word to go to my plug under dash to my Asus laptop to flash.Thank for help I sure need it!

Yes I am, trying to figure out how to shut off incoming g mail+incoming Facebook posts so I can use o.b.d. tool to check it out and shut off code. Also to use to flash e.c.m. with laptop, still need to find interphase connection to go from o.b.d. port to laptop. I don't know if there is anything else that would cause that high idle besides e.c.m.?

Either a bad IAC valve, problem with the wiring, or bad PCM.

With the ignition on, (engine doesn't necessarily have to be running) verify you are getting 12 volts on TWO of the wires in the IAC connector. If not, verify the wires are good, no shorts, or opens. If the wires are good, failed PCM.

Plugged in the obd tool got ecm good but it did show the 0505 code listed it as speed control sensor.I am not sure what that is! That's all I have figured out how to use. Have to look up more info on instructions!

That code is for IAC sensor/circuit. Check voltages at the IAC connector, key on.
