Default I have parking lights, but no headlights

Hi all.

2002 Ram Van 1500. My headlights just stopped working. I have running and parking lights though. So the first pull is parking and then the second pull should be headlights - i get nothing. I think the dash switch may have gone bad, but I dont have my manuals right now as they are packed up in a truck and running down the interstate. Yea, Im moving...Id look it up in my manual, but I have nothing right now. Is there a stuck relay? If there is does anyone know where it is?
Please help! Im supposed to leave tomorrow

Thank you

. First off. flip your high beams. Do the high beams come on?If yes, put a known good light in there and see if it works. I've seen a voltage blip blow both headlights at the same time. Not often, but it can happen. If not, it may be your switch.

I'm wondering if your smart switch isn't bad. You can usually replace these without pulling the steering wheel. Head to the junk yard and pick up another one. Swap it in and if you have lights, get a new one. The headlight switch doesn't get as much use as the smart switch. They tend to wear out faster.. Your van is about the right age for this.

Can we assume you've checked all fuses?

Did you happen to disconnect the buzzer box? I removed mine and the lights stopped working. Headlights only, everything else still worked. Oddly enough when I pulled the cover off, it stopped buzzing when I re attached it. Lights working fine now. Odd

Yep.
A couple of days after I posted this, they started to work again
Up to today, no issues...
Also there was no other work performed on the van when this happened...I have to get my manual to check this out, but just real quick, is there a ground wire up front that could have gotten loose?

Couple of 'em. On the trucks, there are two on the drivers side of the radiator support. Don't know if they put them there in the vans as well.
