Why was the ECM replaced?

Does the pump prime? Will the engine run at all?

the engine would start and running then die ,then start then die ... got a reman ecm and drove it a couple days (ie) 200 miles . return the reman purchase a another and this gremlin showed up . sent in the veh ID # on original ecm because they said it had to match for camper conv . , now when i turn on the key to start the engine initially the pump comes on and stops and voltage drops out , wont run fuel pressure wont build . >? some ive asked say the ground is insufficient but not having wiring diagram i can not figure out which is the ground . or even understand why this is happening . should have been a plug and play ecm .
