I just replace the timing chain on my 1988 Dodge B250 camper. The original chain and pulleys where at 12 o'clock on the cam and 12 o'clock at the crank , I installed the new chain and pulleys the same way and the distributor rotor pointing at no 1 post ( no 1 piston ) and the motor runs perfectly. Can I continue to drive the van without any problem ?

Yep, you did it right. Just keep an eye out for oil leaks for a while, especially if you didn't drop the oil pan. After a couple of weeks of driving, if you don't have a leak, you're done.

You're fine. If no oil is leaking, and it's running good. Unless it starts to overheat after long drives, there's nothing to worry about. If it overheats a bit, tweak the timing on the distributor. As it is, you did good.
