Just a couple of pics
Little bit shorter trip today, but 10 degrees warmer and not much hwy. Getting in the van at my destination temp was 170. A couple of miles on the hwy and it dropped to 130. Shut the throttle for the off ramp and temps went rapidly to 145. No air moving when you shut the throttle. I'm thinking temps would be alot cooler if I drove around at large throttle openings all the time, ha ha.

Finally got a good aluminum driveshaft off a 99. Been going to pick and pulls and everytime the driveshaft was damaged by their forklift and they weren't sympathetic at all. Didn't take a picture, but you all know what one looks like. Saved 10.7 pounds and I would have thought it would have been more just picking them up and moving them.
Also got the button head allens for the throttle body bolts for a little less bolt head standing up in the air stream. Woo hoo to both.

Thanks.
Was finally able to find a bumper worth puling off a few days ago to replace mine which was dented and bent. Mine was all chrome and the one I found had the rubber or plastic top cap and it was not even close to perfect, but overall it is so much nicer than what was on there. got some bent pinch welds straightened out and a corner on the rear door was bent outward at about a 45. Looking better all the time.

If I find any other parts, Ill let you know...
There was a fully 99 conversion in a boneyard in Naples...I was excited because they also had a Capri there...I actually needed Capri parts....but
When I got there, I wanted to check out the van...I was really interested in getting a few things off of it..
Someone bought the whole van on the spot about 30 mins before I got there. I got talking with the owner and he said that it seats were out, the engine had been picked on and the carpet was gone - and other things - and the guy still bought the whole thing

I think the only thing I am going to go for now is a wiring harness for a 96. There's a 95 at the pick and pull, but I am fairly certain the harness would be different as 96 was the first year for obd2 as far as I know. The one on my van has quite a bit of repairs from rodents and I have been unable to find the source of my parasitic draw. Even looked over things with a thermal imaging camera although I might need to figure out how to set the sensitivity. For my piece of mind I think a good harness would be good and hope it is the source of the draw.
if I think about it enough...it will come to me...Ive heard about this issue in many other vehicles too....
it is something weird like a timer, lightswitch/automatic switch/relay sticking...its something like that
