I have a small landscaping business as a side job. I haul mowers and my other small equipment.
I really don't drive it too much due to the exceptionally poor mpg (11.5).
Only have 8K on her.

I use mine to move me around, that's it... I hardly ever haul anything in it. She's my speed demon... hehehe!!
Sounds like your's is a daily work horse... GO DODGE!!

She had a Right DA ( Displaced Abomasum)
Cows have four stomachs what happens is one of
the stomachs(the abomasum) gets full of gas and will float up and
twist its self up and over the big part of the stomach ( called the rumen) If this
happens on the Left side your Vet can preform surgery to get the abomasum back where it belongs
But if its on the right side you can't do the surgery.... So Basically she Died from a twisted stomache
And I bet you never thought you would find out that much stuff about a cows gut
And aren't you glad you asked

I used to assist at a vet's in NH so I know exactly what you are talking about.
I have lots of animals myself, so I've heard it all.

I'm sorry about the cow though... must have been hard to get it into the Ram to make the trip.

Kinda the Crummy part about being a Farmer...
We used the front end loader on the MF 1100 to load her.....
She was a smaller framed Holstein 4yrs old and she just fit...

I just purchased my 1996 1500 long-box w/ 318 at the beginning of the summer... to tow my 1988 19ft Bayliner Capri w/ a Chevy 305ci I/O.
I've spent most of money invested on general maintenance items for it... and have just recently purchased a CAI and Magnaflow exhaust. Can't wait
. I'd like to get the MP1 intake manifold and a MP PCM for it... but all in good time... and funds...
I've been reading this forum for over 6months... doing research and just enjoying all the great people on the board. Glad to be a part, and hope someday I can contribute something for other NewB's...

Scott

'97 Ram 2500, 4x4, 360, 5-speed conversion.
Bought it to haul car and truck parts for my business, and to pull my car trailer. It's been down the last two months for the transmission conversion. Can't wait to get it back on the road.

'04 1500 2x4 V6 to get to/from office work and haul various big but light equipment and wife's junk
. Most loads are >500 lbs. but too big for any car and why its a V-6.
I always forget how many new friends one gets with any truck, it wasn't even on the sticker of options for it. So it must be standard on all trucks
As long as they load/unload, I'll drive and don't mind.
