Rant !!!! Update w/pics
It was going to be a good day. I had use of a garage for a day and had three items to install. Chrome bugshield went on in 5 minutes, SuperChip MaxMicrotuner, programmed in eight minutes and.................
360 Air Intake for 5.9
Well, I ordered the intake THREE weeks ago and it finally came. I removed the stock intake in TWO minutes. The airhat on the 360 DID NOT FIT. It was too small to go over the throttlebody and the vent nipple was on the wrong side. I am pissed. Ofcourse it's Sunday and the place is closed so I have to wait until tomorrow. Anyone here dealt with these guys, they got glowing reviews on DTW. Now I have to send this back and wait another 3 weeks. WTF!!!!
Oh well buyer beware.

Man, Oh, man am I sorry to hear that. You were very encouraging to me when mine was in the shop. I appreciate the warning, I'll pass it on to an owner of a 360 that I know. Stay cool, it'll all work out.[sm=smiley14.gif]

I feel your pain man. I just built a new computer with parts ordered online and had to return a couple parts which cost me 2 weeks in delays.. OOhh the humanity!
But when I order online I am always prepared for this sorta thing. I suppose that's why brick and mortor stores are still in business. Atleast with a real store you can just run the part back and be back fightin it in an hour or so

It's just frustrating after waiting so long and calling 360 Air Intakes five times, that I would be sent the wrong stuff. Now the process of getting a paid return and waiting again just p***es me off. I will be calling at noon est and let ya know.

The designer is not in today. Is there a difference between the throttle body sizes from 98-02 5.9 to 03-04 5.9 ??? Another person at 360 Airintakes is trying to tell me it fits and I should muscle it on.[sm=smiley35.gif]
