Default spitfire saprkplugs

Are the spitfire sparkplugs worth getting for the ram 02 4.7liter. I am looking just to increase the gas mileage. Also anyother advice would be greatly appreciated.about increasing gas mileage. I currently installed the k&n drop filter which was actually not bad for about one to two miles extra. Another mod I will have installed in the near future is a magnaflow muffler.

I've tried them in a couple different vehicles over the years. I couldn't see a change in performance or mileage. I always went back to regular Champions, or Motorcraft Platinum plugs, indexed for whatever vehicle they were going in. The use of the split fire plugs was even cut short one time due to a bad plug.

If you wanted gas mileage you shouldn't have bought a 5000+ lb. truck with a V/8! Believe me the Toyota and Nissan full-size don't get good mpg either![sm=smiley24.gif]

I used them in a Ford Explorer I had, I felt or saw no difference.

about 2 years ago i put my jeep on the dyno then i changed to splitfire plugs, 8mm plug wires new "high perfomance" cap and rotor. we dyno'd again and there was absolutely no increase in torque or power.

i'll look and see if i can find the dyno sheets, i should have them saved somewhere

just because im taking american motors doesnt mean Im refering to just japanese engines. lets not forget about the germen motors. I drivien v8 benzs for a while plus range rovers and gas was not wasted by this much. Just I was wondering why doesnt export companies dont make motors more efficient in mpg than just hp. It was only a question I had.
Thanks to everyone else who answered my question on the sparkplugs.
