Every truck I've owned, I have upgraded to Edelbrock Intake manifold and Holly Carbs. Now that I have a TB, I am not sure if they Make a performance manifold for my 360. Any one know about this ????

That's the intake I'm getting!! I'll be changing to a lower gear at the same time hopefully because it causes some low end loss, or so I've heard from trusted sources. And as much as it does for Mid and High End, I don't want to lose anything off the line, so... lower gear for me... LOL!

But yes, the M1 Intake is the best, can't wait to get mine!!

A higher gear will slow you off the line... maybe you ment lower gear (higher number).

When R U getting it? KRC has a little blurb on it saying they did not loose any low end torque. I have yet to see a before/after dyno run on it... does anyone know of one posted anywhere?

Hahahaha... yes I meant lower gear (higher number), DUH! I am losing it today!! LMAO!! Yes a LOWER GEAR...

As for when... it's on my wist list as the $$ situation isn't happening... LOL!!

A few people I know have the M1 and they lost low end power... although the ranges vary from not too much to a noticable differance... I don't know if I want to risk it... that's why I want the lower gear at the same time to fix ANY differance... you know...? What do you think?

A lot... our engines love to breathe... CAI, Headers, TB, Intake Manifold and Exhaust... you'll be over halfway done with the lungs if you do that. Hehehe!!

What about underdrive pullies. They actually worked on another vehicle I had.

 

Yes... they are great on our Rams from what I hear. The other red Ram on my site has them installed, but I didn't know the truck before hand so I can't gauge the differance... one day The Lady will get them. Hehehe!!

From experince on the BMW, the larger the air filter, the lower the torque. I tried 3 on my 325is & found that the smaller the filter gave me better low end torque. So I'd say there must be a balance there somewhere, but could get expensive playing with filter sizes. Better if you know some locals who have a CAI setup to swap filters with (assuming they are not all the same size of course).

Owners who use the bigger dual out cat back exhaust are also probably loosing torque on the low end. Since my truck is not a race car (hence the bmw :-) ) I'm planning on the single out gibson cat back (1st), and Hypertech s/w (2nd), then the M1 (last). But wont do anything till I get the damm FPR thing done (no free time).
