Default Installed new Flows

Just picked my 04 Hemi from the truck works place. Got a 50 series dual exhaust flowmaster system in it. I have one problem with it...it's not loud enough!!! Anything I can do to increase the noise level? It's only got the 2.25" dual pipes out the back, is that big enough?

Can you eliminate the pipe that goes over the axel and bend it out before the rear tire??

true...I should have gone with the 40 series. I wonder if I can have the muffler swap it out?

OK sorry to double post but I had some trouble typing the first post. Does the 40 series have anything more besides being more noisy? I mean more HP gain or MPG? I am unhappy with the sound that the 50 series makes, anyone think it would sound unreasonable if I asked the muffler shop to swap it out for the 40 series...

Did you get the new HEMI system from flowmaster, with the 50 Series H.D. muffler?

Well the only gain you will get is better flow...I guess a 5 to 10 percent gain is nothing when it comes to the flows but the noise is good too...Guess two chambers is better than three...But I really dont think they will exchange the mufflers since they were installed...But just as well, you might as well ask...

Yeah I got the HD muffler for the HEMI. It sounds good at around 2000 rpms, but I want it to sound good idling.

Pretty sure the HD muffler and the 40 series lines up differently. I think your stuck with that unless you swap out hte whole system. Dunno though check it out at flowmasters cool but confusing website www.flowmastermufflers.com
