My Dodge RAM 1500 After 12,000 Miles
Through all the topics I read here daily, I just wanted to say what I don't hear that much of.
I simply LOVE my 2003 RAM Hemi Black Quad Cab built in the USA.
Why is this passion so?
12,223 miles later, it is still running as smooth as can be and I refused to touch the engine other than to wipe some dust off and all I added myself past the point of what the dealer put on for me were the chrome putco push ups for the bed, the aluminum gas door, and the chrome tip and after that I felt "complete". I also take her every 3,000 miles to the dealer where they gave me 2 years of free oil and filer changes....not a bad deal
Smiles, adorations, and appreciation for what I drive is felt not only by me, but by those at the gas station or drive in movie theatre or basically wherever there are people close to you. Even to drive to the dealer and have all my sales buddies come out and say "damn, that truck still looks better than our current babies" Well, they SHOULD say that even if it's not true, yet again, keeps the pride super strong.
I have so much pride about my Dodge RAM - Unlike any other vehicle I have ever owned. Most everyone here at Dodgeforum shares that same pride as me. Whether you have a 1994 or 2004, you just can't pull away from loving Dodge.
To glaze/wax her every day, to keep her shine at her ultimate best, to keep her chrome pearly glistening...now if I only took that care of myself! haha
Ok, hope you all share the same as I do. Take time to roll the windows down, have the air hit your face and step
hard on the pedal
Fill the tank up all the way, break your piggy bank to do so.....then go for a long ride.....grab a coney island dog and pop....live, love
Now, do I feel pushed to add all those mods, accessories.....sometimes, but not necessarily. I am happy with what I have
and appreciate all that it has brought me (some of you know what that is).
My RAM is going to be with me for 4 more years. I can't wait to enjoy all those years to go by with my Dodge RAM. Then I can trade her in on a SRT-20 or 30 or whatever is out in the time...how exciting to enjoy the now and what is to come

How amazing and wonderful to feel this way about something, isn't it?

It's rewarding everyday to wake up and know you have something beautiful, something that loves you right back.... something that brings joy and happiness... something that brings attention and adoration from those who don't have it...
Thank you for sharing... it's intoxicating to know you feel like this about your Dodge... and to think, it's only the beginning...

Wow, I can only feel that way about another person or God. So far none of my worldly possessions has ever done this: "It's rewarding everyday to wake up and know you have something beautiful, something that loves you right back.... something that brings joy and happiness... something that brings attention and adoration from those who don't have it... "
Darn right...and Amen and God Bless to Dodge
there, have I made Uhoh and Vader happy ?
I know all you would get this if you were out here in Sunny California and had 10 minutes of free time like I did today...
Was driving through a market near Santa Anita Rack Track, and there were three kids walking with their dad and while driving through, the kids stood still while dad kept walking...all three were staring and the one said "Dad, that is a nice truck"...
And that's a TRUE STORY (anyone here know Craig Shoemaker?)
Take care everyone......it's a half day blown here and I already need to wipe the dust from her black mane

I share your pride, dude. I wash my SRT-4 everyday, rain or shine. I probably take better care of it than I do myself. Thank goodness for a garage and covered parking at work....[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]
