I just bought a Ram Quad Cab 2wd with the Hemi and the 20 inch wheels/tires. it is my first truck so I never thought of driving in in the snow and ice until today when somebody asked me how it did this winter.
How do the Ram's QC 2wd with the 20 inch wheels do in the snow? Do they get stuck easily or slide around alot?

Yah, some sand bags over the wheel wells will help plant your butt to the road in the snow... I know lots of people who do that. ![Smile](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Personally, I've never done that myself, and gotten through every Michigan winter I've had her without a problem.

Amanda do you have two wheel drive? We dont get much snow here but we do get some. I cited 4WD as a must have when purchasing a trcuk because I remembers all the fish tailing I did in my Nissan back in college. I also think its funny watching all the rear wheel drive vehicles try to manuver up hills in the snow.....

I've got a 2wd, but I live in Ga where if we do get snow, it paralyzes the whole Atlanta metro area and no one is expected to go to work. I did take out my Ram the one day we get a little snow this year and it did just fine. You just have to take it easy when turning. Your driving style in the snow can either make you or break you (and when I say break you, I mean run yourself into a phone pole or something like that).

Yep, mine is 2 wheel drive... and I enjoy fish tailing and goofing off with her in the winter. The 4x4 is WAY nice, I must say, but I'm all for speed, so I'll take my 2wd and have a little "play time" in the winter... as long as I'm FAST FAST FAST the other three seasons of the year. LOL!!

Mine is also 2wD.
When we get a lot of snow, I just shovel a heap into the bed for traction, beats buying sandbags!
I also got some Goodyear Wrangler RTS (245 75 16) put on when the factory michelins wore out, they perform pretty good in snow.
