RE: Hemi vs. Titan?
I could careless who's faster. I didn't buy my Hemi to race other trucks. If that would have been the case, I would have bought a Lightning or kept my 02' GT.
However, I did see a comparrison on the two trucks, and the Titan was a "hair" quicker.

RE: Hemi vs. Titan?
If you have a quad cab with 20"s, the Titan is probably quicker. A regular cab HEMI with 17"s would be quicker IMO. Has to have 3.92 gears either way. 3.55's are too tall and 4.10 will just loose traction off the line unless you have limited slip rear diff.
Who cares though, the Titan is the ugliest POS I've seen in a long time! Makes me want to hurl from about 95% of the angles I've ever seen one. I'd rather drive a Chevy SS... that's a touch quicker too (based on the last article I read).

RE: Hemi vs. Titan?
yeah i have had my truck for 2 weeks now and have yet to see one on the road when in mine. but yes you guys are right they are the ugliest truck out right now, ihave seen the dyno sheets to both compared side by side and the lines show a sharp peak and a sharp drop to the titans power and torque, while the hemi raises and carries strong throughout the band.

Personally I think the Titan is ugly as sin. And there engine is practically an all alluminum racing engine. Give Dodge a year or two and the Hemi will be bigger and bader. Soon the Hemi will the be head and shoulders above the competition. Plus a Titan with a manual against a Hemi with an automatic might be able to beat it off the line.

RE: Hemi vs. Titan?
I drove my co-worker' Titan....then I threw up! No, really! I did! I would rather drive the company van-Chevy Express 3500 to a Dodge Showoff!
When Nissan decides to build a real truck, like 1500, 2500, or a 3500; then maybe, just maybe I'll take a look. Nah, just kidding. -DjCZR

RE: Hemi vs. Titan?
I read in a review that the Titan was quicker off the line but the Hemi got to top speed faster. I have a friend who loves the Titan's and if he buys one I will let you know how his face looks in my rearview.

RE: Hemi vs. Titan?
I actually like the look of the Titan. For a crew cab, it's nice to have a full back seat.
I remember when Dodge first came out with their newer styling... people thought that was ugly too.

RE: Hemi vs. Titan?
I gotta say that the titan is definately not my first choice of truck, but for it being the first full size truck nissan has made, its not all that bad. hasoptional bedside storage compartments (standard on some models maybe) and its got a **** load of bells and whisles in the bed. Its not that bad looking either. But being a dodge fan i would rather take a dodge ram any day. Im not a big fan of the new fords though. Beds too tall.
