Default Mopar performance computer??

Alright everyone need some help. Got a 96 Ram 5.9L 2wd that has a ton of mods and im getting it dynoed tomorrow. My only problem is it has the Mopar performance computer in it, and also a MSD 6A ignition w/blaster coil and tach adapter, which dosent house a rev-limiter. Does the Mopar performance computer have a rev-limiter??? The guys at the dyno were asking me if I do or do not have one...Any help is appreciated.

You probably don't have any limiter if it's truely a performance computer. The reason they are asking is because it will determine how they have to run the truck and set the dyno up. Let us know how it goes.

Well results were a little under what I though, but I could not get any good pulls in 3rd gear cause of the kick down at WOT, ao the torque would spike @ kickdown then after the gear change it would smooth out. The best was 221hp 297 lbs of torque with 22" wheels and 305/45/zr22's. All in all a good time.

96' Ram 5.9L w/ mods

We had a problem with the speed limiter when doing the Hemi. We did the test in 2nd gear which probably hurt me a bit.

Your results look pretty good, but the kickdown probably hurt the the HP some.

1996 5.9l 2wd--Gibson headers, high flow cat w/ Y-pipe and flowmaster cat-back, mopar fipk, mopar performance pcm, 180 degree thermostat, msd 8.5 wires, msd 6a box w/ blatser coil and tach adapter. I think thats it. Im willing to bet the 22" wheels and the trans kickdown killed alot of hp and torque for the runs too...

22" rims is alot of weight but on a dyno it shouldn't matter. Only on the street when racing, but if you have high performance tires on there then it would counter act that by giving you extra traction. Where did you buy your mopar PCM at? I am goin to put on on my 5.2 cherokee. Also what brand of cat are you runing?

Not to start anything here, but why wouldn't it matter. The engine still has to turn that weight over.
