They don't totally suck, they do build some good vehicles like the 350Z.

What is it with forums like this? They always have one guy trying to make his point, and ruffle some feathers! Although he has the right to feel like he does, I would not aggree with the place he chose to make his opinion public. If this guy wants a Titan so bad, then let him buy one and start his own forum based on the Titan. From what I can tell the Titan is the same as Toyota in terms of marketing, and design. They wait for the competition toput all the R&D into the design, and then copy them. Did anyone everrealize how similar the F-150 andthe Tundra lookedfrom the front end? There was even talk about Toyota wanting to name the Tundra the T-150 but Ford said "yeah thats going to happen. Sounds like a rumor to me, butbased on whatToyotahas done in the pastit would not suprise me.Remember what an engineering marvel the T-100was? Same with theNissan, it looks a heck of a lot like the new F-150 to me. I will say this though, while the Titan does not look like much to me stock it looks pretty good with a lift kit and bigger tires. Believe it or not they can wheel pretty hard as well, I have seen them hang with the F-150 and Silverado doing some moderate offroading.

The only reason the buzz about Toyota and Nissan is still high is because likeit or not they both make a good motor for every day driving and light duty towing.Longevity is thierweaponand marketing backbone. If they want toimpress me, letone of themtake on a real market and designtest like the HD 2500/3500 crowd. On the down side for guyslike me that do what I do, thefront suspension does not give you much in the wayof optionsas far as lift kits or engine modsare concerned. The options that are available are either available over seas only, or way too expensive for the every day Joe likeme to spend on and too convince someone to spend on.Bottom line, Toyota and Nissan make good trucks for every day use. I just think that for what they charge for them anemities should be a little better, and they can be a littlecreative on thier ownin terms of the exterior features they "borrow" from the competition.

For you guys upset about the Nissan ad--There's a magazine ad showing the Nissan ahead of a Dodge. If you read the fine print, it says that the Dodge is equipped with a standard V8. That means the Titan has it's 5.6 pulling against the 4.7. Haven't seen the TV ad, but it's a pretty safe bet it doesn't say the Dodge has the hemi.

Why should you get upset about a Nissan ad anyway? Not everyone buys there truck for towing anyway, some like out-right speed. And some people don't want the fastest truck either, so don't let this stuff bother you.

Be happy with the truck you have and support the commericals that you enjoy. Don't get offended by one truck out-pulling another truck. Life is too short for that.

I'll throw out some numbers and let you people decide which is the most impressive:Nissan Titan v-8 0-60 in 8 seconds and 380 ft lbs of torque, Toyota Tundra v-8 0-60 in 7.9 seconds with 315 ft lbs of torque, Hemi powered Dodge Ram v-8 0-60 in 6.8 seconds with 375 ft lbs of torque. These are all from Motor Trend test drives. The numbers kind of lean toward one truck for the most part.

I spent 30k on my Maxima and it was the biggest piece of crap --stitching coming out of the leather, carpet not staying down, leaking sunroof, sunroof stuck open on two different occasions, car would not crank at all a handful of times. I don't care if the Titan had 500 hp and endless torque, I still would not consider it. I am not "pro" dodge but I do love my truck as well as my brother's '04 F150which also has great quality. As I was shopping for trucks, the Titan wasno where on the list of prospects. My list was in this order: Dodge,Ford, GMC, Chevy, Toyota.Let's see how many Titans are sitting on the used car lots by the end of the year...

I hope you have better luck with your Nissaint than I had with mine...

Same here, got rid of an 02 Max for my Ram. Nissan North America sucks and they are gutless, spineless, and weak.

I agree, but hey...no need to cry about it though. I hope dodge throws one back at them, but showing the truth!

But i believe you knew what you were doing when youbarged onto this dodge forum with your comments!!! your Titon oppinions should be voiced on your nissan family's forum if you Arestill welcome there?
I hate the look of the titan!!!

Just another form of imports we have to smack around!! LOL

While the Titan is not a match for the Ram...the F-150 drivers better watch out!! LOL

Seems to me the Titan out pulls the ram in the real tests. And won tow vehicle of the year. I almost bought a F150 or a Hemi, but after driving the Titan and pulling a big trailer with it, its no match. The f150 was a dog, the Hemi was powerful but didn't have the power like the Titan does.

Well, I hear that the Toyota Tundra is blowing engines left and right in the NASCAR Truck Series... and they are just TESTING! LOL! After 4 laps, the first engine blew. It actually surprises me that TRD couldn't build a better engine for it to start out with. (Just thought I'd throw that out there...)

Anyway... my Ram is a 1994, the first redesigned model year... NEVER did I think it was fugly, but thanks for the comment.

If the Ram out towed the F-150, I have a hard time believing the Titan out towed it. Until I see facts, I won't believe 'truck camp testing'. But I haven't heard much good about the Titan yet.

~Amanda <edited><editID>Dodgegirl19</editID><editDate>38000.9253587963</editDate></edited>

Why do you need facts? It just doesn't float my boat. I won't ever buy foreign, even though I don't want to get into DC's German influence... I was aganist the merger... LOL!

If the Titan is your thing... so be it... I still don't think you'll be able to catch my in my little red Ram... that's all. I'm proud of the truck I've worked so hard for.

I don't like it's looks, it's engine size (I like my 5.9L) and that it's a Nissan... that's all.

~Amanda
<edited><editID>Dodgegirl19</editID><editDate>38000.9343287037</editDate></edited>
Your dodge is foreign, so you bought a NON-American Truck.

The Titan is more American than your Dodge is. IT's made in the states with all American parts.
