Nissan can eat my dust

OK first of all this is a DODGE Forum!

2nd they had to supercharge that motor just to produce 300hp (lol foreign trucks) If I supercharge my truck, Goodbye Nissan! I am sporting 320rwhp with only about $700.00 in aftermarket upgrades. If I added a supercharger it would be like 500+rwhp and over 600lbs/ft of torque. I dont think your nissan can handle that kind of compression.

3rd The truck is a product of japan, not mississippi. It's called an assembly line for a reason. If you assemble a remote control car in Iowa its still made in japan.

4th You said you have a 300m...........lmao. that explains why you want the Titan.......you have to continue buying ugly vehicles. The titan looks like a Ram on heroin and the 300m is an intrepid w/ minor changes except the not so minor price-tag increase.

Go play with your ugly car

My Ram was built in America. Back in 86, before NAFTA. But others were assembled in Canada and Mexico that year. Don't blame NAFTA for cheaper labor being south. It's been going on a lot longer than that.
And what's with bumping a year-dormant thread?

Your dodge is foreign, so you bought a NON-American Truck.
The Titan is more American than your Dodge is. IT's made in the states with all American parts.

Why do you need facts? It just doesn't float my boat.
I won't ever buy foreign, even though I don't want to get into DC's German influence... I was aganist the merger... LOL!

If the Titan is your thing... so be it... I still don't think you'll be able to catch my in my little red Ram... that's all. I'm proud of the truck I've worked so hard for.

I don't like it's looks, it's engine size (I like my 5.9L) and that it's a Nissan... that's all.

What the hell? Nice article, but what the bloody hell? Explorers, Crown Victorias, and 4-banger equipped compact pickups winning "tow vehicle of the year"????

Well, I hear that the Toyota Tundra is blowing engines left and right in the NASCAR Truck Series... and they are just TESTING! LOL! After 4 laps, the first engine blew. It actually surprises me that TRD couldn't build a better engine for it to start out with. (Just thought I'd throw that out there...)

Anyway... my Ram is a 1994, the first redesigned model year... NEVER did I think it was fugly, but thanks for the comment.

If the Ram out towed the F-150, I have a hard time believing the Titan out towed it. Until I see facts, I won't believe 'truck camp testing'. But I haven't heard much good about the Titan yet.

I've got nothing against the Titan, except it looks only slightly better than the Pathfinder Armada (and the new dakota, durango, all azteks, etc.).
Let me know how it does with 7000 lbs of gravel in the bed and a 5000 lb+ trailer hooked up to it. My Ram did just fine.

It's time to learn that sometimes the US Constitution gives us and anyone in this state to say what they want.
Nissan is so proud they copied the frame of a 2002 Ford F-150.
Nissan also knew that in order to cut costs and make more profit, they would
have to cheapen the frame, make it thinner, make the engine with a small water pump
that barely gets turned by the serpentine belt....expect that to slip and fry and engine
burn up as it "tries" to pass the Dodge
Ever seen the oil filer on a Nissan Titan? It's
smaller than what would be on a lawnmore. It's amazing, how much Nissan doesn't know,
slips on the level of quality technology...but yet, makes a good PLASTIC/Fiberglass shell
on some of their makes...but it's like riding in a time bomb....don't ever get hit while driving
any Nissan....
What did Nissan do? Start to copy the creativity of Dodge Commercials. You see, that is how
companies continue to grow...copy the other...and then put SO MANY people together, convince
them it's better....and many fall for it...money goes into the big brothers pocket...and more crap
is produced.
Step into your Dodge RAM. Never have any worries when you pull next to any Titan.
Dodge will forever leave all in their Dodge Dust. Now, go over to www.dodge.com/goods and grab
a shirt...wear it everywhere....say how proud you are to have a HEMI. Even if you don't have
one...just wear it....be proud that you indeed DO have the best American built truck in this
God Blessed land.

i believe edmund.som has a town hall format the you can look up comments and peoples personal experiences with different vehicles. was in a transmission wholesalers parts store a few months ago. while waiting for them to total my bill i was looking at all the posters with the recommended fixes for all the manufacturers transmissions. and i do mean all of them. all vehicles have problem areas, no matter what brand. i looked at the titan. i personally did not care for the styling of the ext/interior. did not like the fact that to get the hd tow package you had to order two other equip pkgs that increased the total price by several thousand. that seems to run accross the whole nissan line now. looked at the ford-did not like the seats. if my butt is going to be in it for a number of years it had better be comfortable. looked at the chevy-overall liked it quite a bit. good ability to equip with options as you deem neccessary. the ram looked cheap on the inside to me. plus the dodge rep for trans problems made me wonder.
personally i like the midsize series of trucks the best. so far the dakota is the top of the three i have looked into. just waiting for the ho 4.7 to show up to try a test drive. i know this one will have problem area also. i just have to decide if i can put up with them.
as a side note-the best customer service i have ever recieved at a car dealer service dept was not at the dodge dealer, not at the subaru dealer, not at the acura dealer, but was at the nissan dealer.
