I think the Ramchargers are extremely cool looking. I've always wanted to see somebody lower one though.

the first was my favorite, although i like the road armor on the 2F2F truck...

however, i saw that same white ramcharger last year at the chrysler classic event. he had bigger tires on it, and it had Really rained hard, and there were tons of cars stuck in the mud in the awful, awful NTR pits. my dad and i watched him pull a few truck, trailer combos out of deep mud, while sitting in deep mud.

note: several of the trucks i saw him unbury were fords, and as he pulled them out, people were booing and mocking the ford driver..

Many years ago, my dad and I were at Michigan Int. Speedway where we witnessed a similar thing. It had rained heavily, and at the time, the track had deep drainage ditches in the infield for drainage. Well once the rain stopped, guys started mud bogging through the ditches. Before too long someone in a chevy[sm=smiley21.gif] was stuck. A Ford tried pulling him out, but slid ino the ditch as well. Along came this Ramcharger 4x4 and hooked to the Ford and basically pulled both out. Then just for good measure the guy ran the ditch that everyone else was stuck in. It was great.

there was a special on either Discovery, or the learning channel, about the wild fires out west. they went on and on about the air conditions, and the quote went something like this...

"with the extreme heat, and massive amounts of smoke it is nearly impassible for humans on foot, and only the toughest of the toughest vehicles can travel through the already dificult terrain"...as they stop talking, they show a late 70s ramcharger (might have been a plymount) come flying over this hill, through a wall of fire, up over a huge fallen tree, catch air, and slam down, and keep on going.. it was awesome..
