check your ecu for leaking capacitors.

ok so that might cause the way it runs then if they r leaking

yes, leaky capacitors will cause all sorts of odd issues. They are also something that is common especially among the 91-93 models.

ok so if they r leaking can i replace them or do i have to replace the hole ECU

If you're capable of electronics repair, you could do it yourself. I've had good dealings with ECMTOGO.com, others have had good luck with AVPRO.com (both ECU rebuild companies). I've picked up a rebuilt ECU at OReilly.

well my buddy is very good at this stuff so im going to get a hold of him if it is the problem. and how would i flash it to get the check engine light off

ok so it is leaking and got over a few things so i might have to replace those too so im hoping this is my only problem

Get the ECU all squared away, I bet the CEL will go away as well.

if the ECU is bad, you need to clean the boad, and soder on new capacitors. You're best off sending it to someone who knows what they are doing. www.avproecm.com
