Default 2005 2.7 engine ?'s

hey guys im fairly new here, but it seems like i cant find a answer to my qestion. ok i havew a sebring 2002 2.7 and the engine jus took a poop. now i have found a 2005 2.7 stratus engine. im know its the same engine, but i also know i would have to swap somethings around.

i would just like some links or comments on how i can do this, maybe a computer swap is needed, or anything. because its the whole car so when i go i would like to get what i need from it to make this work on my 2.7 sebring convertible. since they fixed all the bugs in 2004 and up.

anything would help thanks guys

Welcome to DF
The motor will work in the 2002 sebring. You should switch all your valve covers and intake and all sensors.

ok got it, now one more question. i know about removing an engine, but any suggestions on a convertible to take the engine out? what i mean is from the top or bottom would be ideal if i have no lift. i have a lift but its taken for the next week, so i guess top would be for me, but i just want to make sure its possible lol

It can be done either way. The last one I did was thru the front of the car with the transmission.
