Hazing Headlights...
I just picked up some nice 4.6k recond headlights for my 2001 dodge stratus es. but my only problem is my headlights are kinda hazy and it annoys me -_-
I used Turtle Headlight Cleaner and they removed alot of the haze, but not all of it.
is there any specific kind of headlight cleaner anyone's used that clears them up really good?
thanks

Thanks for asking this question YeahGuy I'm in the same boat, except that I live at school and need to de-haze my headlights in a parking lot with no power and not much in the way of tools. Is it possible to use rubbing compound and clean the lenses by hand? I'm okay with having to put a lot of elbow grease into a job, I just need to know that it's even possible.
Well I performed the poor man's headlight restoration on my car today (using ultrabrite toothpaste and a lot of elbow grease) and I gotta say they turned out very good! Not showroom pretty but the lenses are nice and clear and I can once again see the bulbs in there. Hand-buffed them when I was done and gave them each a squirt of armor all. For about a dollar's worth of supplies I can't complain!
Good luck to you YeahGuy. As an impoverished grad student I'm willing to accept adequate results, so the hillbilly headlight restoration technique worked wonders for me. In the long run though, I anticipate having to replace the suckers. Just can't afford that right now.
