Rear Speaker Problems – Amplifier
I just bought a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T and I am fixing what the MORON of an owner did to the poor car. I am having problems getting the rear speakers working. The front speakers and even the tweeter work but not the rear, I am unsure of the Center speaker as well. I am getting voltage from the POSITIVE wire but when I use the negative I get nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S.- Does anyone know where the Infinity Amplifier is located in the Coupe Models
Thanks

its under the passenger seat. my amp died after about two years...however, when i put in my subs, i had to tap into the pre-amp rear speaker wires...and use an rca adapter
Thank you, I'll check on this today after work.
Another question I had was The clock in the middle in the dashboard does not work. The light works and it's nice and bright but it doesn't display anything. Is there an easy way to remove the top part of the dashboard?

I'm guessing, it's right in front of the Center Speaker. It's never worked so I'm not sure what it does. I keep pressing the ON button but it wont turn on. All I get is the background light but no display.
If I can hear audio when I am using the Radio but then when I try to play a CD there is no Audio comming from the speakers, do you think there's something wrong with the AMP?????
that sounds like a head unit issue, if it works in radio mode.

What I am wondering is what head unit do you have?
The cd portion of the radio can be bad.
We get a lot of failures for the RB4 radio here. What happens is the motor that actualy spins the cd dies. So you get sound from radio and nothing from the cd. We also get a lot of returns, cause people try to put more then 1 cd into the player. I opened one up once ande found 6 cds jammed inside the cd player. The problem they reported, was: will not accept cd. Hmm wonder why.
Have you tried to hook up a diffrent head unit to this vechicle? I would guess it be the head unit, but the amp can cause problems, but when you get sound from the radio portion and nothing from the cd portion, more then likly head unit problem.
Let me know a little more infor and I MIGHT be able to help ya out.
