'02 Stratus R/T 3.0L 126,000 miles.

-Just bought it, in non-running condition (body in mint condition), for $800. Replaced the clutch as well as head, valve cover, intake and exhaust gaskets. Timing, power steering and serpentine belts and pulleys. Water pump, spark plugs and wires. Distributor/rotor, battery, tires, all sway bar links, lateral link. Did oil change, hydraulic fluid (manual transmission) flush, coolant flush. Its like a new car now!

Topped 161,000 miles this month, originally bought at 7 miles!
Upon my engine giving out eventually, I'll upgrade it and input some boost

Did you have to replace the timing belt and water pump? I heard you have to replace them at around 100k. Mine has 111k on it now and I'm worrying.

If you have the stratus coupe recommended maintenance of the water pump, timing belt, hydraulic tensioner, etc... are at 120k miles.

been a little less than 2 years, just hit 150,000 last week. car originally had 128,000miles on it when i bout for (500 bucks). still running fine. since i purchased it have had the suspension front and back replaced, drivers side cv joint, ball joints, brake master cylinder, hub bearing in back and just had front right hub bearing replaced and now need front left replaced.

planning on moving down to the fl keys in the end of august and driver it all the way down from northeast pa, bout 1500 miles in 24 hours. gonna have it looked over completely to get the okay from a mechanic but i already know it can handle it.

Anyone one on here ever put a trailer hitch on their stratus? thinking of doing it but have my doubts cause my motor is just a 4 cylinder.
