was reading C&D and in the road test digest it says the viper does 12.1 on the 1/4 and the ford gt does 11.6 one the 1/4

then it says the viper does 0-60 in 3.9 while the gt does o-60 in 3.3

is this true i thought the viper still beat it in the 1/4

i think this is an apples and oranges deal. the viper costs about 87,000. the GT is what, like 200,000?

 

That and do these C&D people know how to drive. I thought I've seen some times from some of the vehicles they tested and they were slower than normal. Now I might be thinking of another magazine. And that is a great point, just turbo the viper and it will leave the GT in the dust for a lot less money.

 

GT's run around 150K I think. Yeah, the viper does lose to the GT from what Ive heard... But I doubt the new Coupe will...

for the 65k extra the ford gt runs u can get ur viper into under 10seconds 1/4 miles

 

Find me one that I can buy for 150K and I will give you a 10K finders fee.
This is a serious offer!
I wouldn't mind having one but they are going for 220 to 275K by the people that are on the list.
