I have been doing a bunch of little stuff to my truck getting ready for our NC GTG. we are meeting this Sat and looks like we will have a good turn out, shame so many of you BTC members are so far away. Me and Southernbnb will be the only BTC members that I know of there. We will have lots of pics.

 

No bouchedags allowed in BTC. all bags of douche belong in the poon club.

Hey af, how is the cam treating you buddy? I was hoping to hear more about how the truck is learning the cam now that it has been in there for a little bit in your original thread but it seems to have gotten buried.

the cams still runnin real strong. no issues whatsoever. when cold, it flutters juuuust a bit around 500-600 rpms but never stalls or anything. it seems backwards cause usually the idle is higher when the engine is cold (like a choke).

just went and got my o2 bung welded in for the AFR sensor. i'll be hookin it up this weekend and doin some datalogging.

 

I am really happy for you and glad to hear it is running good. I am almost ready to do my install, the retainers came in today and the puller should be here either the en o this week or beginning of next.

 

Do they have eye lids like you 3rd gens do for the 2nd gen. ?
