I missed a word on my original post, noms are on May 2nd and the competition will start as soon as we have four accepted noms.

sounds good! Hey it looks like I'm gunna bite the bullet on the hood. Talked him down to $350 so I should be picking it up monday. Waiting to hear back from a couple bodyshops on when I can take it in for fitment and paint. Teach do you have a pic of what the hood looks like from the drivers seat? Also do you have any water problems with the cowl and/or scoop?

No problems with water coming in the hood. I did get a lot of other crap coming in the hood scoop before I put a mesh in it to catch all the debris. Here is the pic from inside the cab, it is a crappy cell phone pic but you get the idea of what it looks like.

Thanks for the pic. I was wondering how obnoxious the cowl would look when driving but that doesnt look like it will be a problem. I've got black painted gutter mesh that I can rig up to put in the scoop then. Not sure how the vents are setup, I may need to rig up a catch bar or something.
