my step dad came over from england and is a rolls royce certified engineer... and we were back in evansville, in around 1989 or so.. so there are no rolls royces down there lol.. but people would have maseratis, bentley, rolls royces and old lambos shipped down there from st louis, Indianapolis, Nashville or Louisville on train or truck to his shop.
there wasnt too many of those engineers in that area in the late 80s
I remember walking around his shop amidst all these Maserati boras, 911s and other exotics.. but he pointed out a 57 light blue corvette and went on to state how it was his favorite because the way the chrome sparkled in the sun, "gives it personality" he said.
so here i am, 10 years old, and walking by countaches and mondials just to see if the chrome was rusting
when my truck is waxed and the chrome wheels, bumpers and other items are clean... it really feels good driving on bright sunny days and thinking about the old days

And those wedding bells are still ringing in your ears, That will go away in time jjay just give it time. That chrome will be waiting for ya. all the while. Shame about the rearend, I was wondering whether I put enough oil in mine , all the way too Ohio. Couple nailbiting miles with that; lol, I used the first knuckle method btw.

well im kinda being thrown into it...im hoping its nothing more than the bearings that are what made it go...and the clunk well hes hoping its just the clip falling out went thru the gears and it went str8 to the magnet with out messing up my lsd...i was moving slow as i felt it i stopped and put it in drive to let it go the other way....so that may have saved me alot of money there also i dont have the extra money to fork out for the new lsd or it all would be done....
